The next blog update will be more camping pictures! We are going camping at Fort Mountain State Park in Chatsworth, GA for 4 nights! I can't wait! Matt's 29th birthday is on Sunday, so we will be celebrating his birthday camping style this year!

Harley was bitten by a spider last weekend. The huge juicy bubble that we found on his neck on Sunday when we came home from camping is still there. Since it had not changed in almost 5 days, we decided it was time to head to the vet. After the doc squeezed on it, she said it was really hard and that nothing would come out of it. So, she took a sample of the skin and the cells and looked at it under the microscope and sure enough, there were 2 puncture wounds in the middle of the bubble. So, it has been confirmed by a professional, Harley was bitten by a spider and is going to survive. As the vet was telling us what she found, Harley climbed under my seat and proceeded to let out the loudest and stinkiest bulldog fart you have ever heard or smelled. I was mortified, because it came out from under MY CHAIR!!! She just laughed and said that he shared his toxic fumes with her while she poked and prodded his neck in the other room! She gave us a prescription for some antibotics, which she told us to get filled at Wal-Mart, because it was one of their $4 prescriptions.
I am sure by now, ya'll are beginning to think that all we do on the
weekends is go camping. Well, you are pretty much right! Going camping makes us slow down and relax. Matt started watching the weather early in the week and saw that it was going to be FALL like weather, so we booked a campsite! Friday night we sat by the campfire and ate Brunswick stew for dinner, then went to bed around 9:30. After breakfast (which is our favorite camping meal) Saturday morning, we went back in the camper and played cards with the heater at our feet! It was AWESOME that we actually needed the heater! After
a game of cards, I
sat outside by the fire and finished Marley: A dog like no other. I was crying like a baby when I finished the book. What a site; me sitting at the campfire reading a book while bawling my eyes out!!!!
e to visit. Kylie had gone to the Georgia/Vandy game with Aaron, so Kerri and the boys had a day out.
The dogs always enjoy themselves while we are out in the great outdoors! Maybe once we have kids, I won't post so many pictures of our dogs, but that is all we have to offer right now :>)

Yes, that is an ENTIRE TREE hanging out of my car! We got some looks as we drove back to our site! Oh well, that is what camping is all about!
