Sad times!

  What do you mean summer is over???  Does that mean that we actually have to start going to bed and getting up early again?  NOOOOO!!!!!!

Sad times have arrived.....I go back to work tomorrow!  Raegan and I have definitely formed quite a bond this summer and I am pretty sure that there will be tears tomorrow morning when I drop her off with her babysitter....my tears of course!  I'm sure that Raegan is going to actually enjoy being back with her sitter because she will get to see her friends and have other kids to play with again!  

I am blessed to have a job that allows be to spend the summer with her and just blessed to have a job, period!  However, I am sad to have to leave my sweet baby girl!  Hopefully we will get back into school mode quickly!  Now, bring on the cooler weather and fall since we are BACK TO SCHOOL!

My Latest Obsession!

Not long after Raegan was born, I discovered an etsy shop that made the cutest little headbands! I placed several orders from this girl and got so many compliments every time Raegan wore one (which was just about every time we went anywhere!).  After really looking at each of them, I decided to try to make some myself......as you can see, I figured it out and I am addicted!  The other night we were going out to dinner with some friends and I asked Matt if we had time for me to make her a headband to match her dress.  He just laughed at me and said, "Um, no!"  I have also had a couple people place custom orders for their little girlies!!  It is so much fun dressing Raegan up!!!  I have to give Pinterest some of the credit for teaching me how to make some of the flowers!

Amelia Island 2012

We took our first vacation as a family of 3 this week in Amelia Island.  It was a new adventure having to pack so much stuff, but we had an absolute blast!  We were really nervous and unsure about how Raegan was going to do on the long car ride.  We left at 4:00 in the morning and she slept all the way to Tifton, where we ate breakfast.  Then after breakfast, she went back to sleep and slept until we reached the beach!! AMAZING!  She did the exact same thing on the way home today too!  Now we know that she is a good traveler and won't be afraid to take trips with her!  She was also a great beach napper!  She loves being outside, so being on the beach was right up her alley! She was able to people watch and play all day!  This girl also LOVES the swimming pool!! She is such a good baby and just goes with the flow!  We took over 700 pictures in the 4 days that we were gone, so I did a pretty good job narrowing down my favorites for the blog!
