Family Photo Shoot

My friend Carrie had asked me a while back if I could do a photo shoot with her whole family at a little farm near her parents house. So, yesterday Matt and I loaded up the camera and headed to Bowman, Georgia. Every time I go to small towns like Bowman, it makes me want to live out in the country! Then I come home and realize how much I LOVE being 10 minutes from Target and the mall. We would definitely save some money if we lived in a town like Bowman, because there is VERY little to spend money on! In the 2 hours that we spent on this little farm, I took nearly 1,000 pictures. Needless to say, I have been editing my little heart out all day. My fingers have actually cramped up from all of the editing! As you already know, I have a really hard time narrowing down my favorites. Here is just a glimpse at the many that I took! Aren't they all the cutest families you have ever seen??

Welcome to the world Kohen Daniel!

My sister had her 5th baby this afternoon. Kohen Daniel arrived around 4:00 this afternoon weighing in at 7lbs 4 oz. He is a cutie!!! I absolutely love black and white pictures, but black and white newborn pictures are my FAVORITE!!! Here are just a few of the 200 shots that I got of him through the window when he was brought into the nursery. I can't wait to go back and actually get to hold him tomorrow!

Family Camping Trip (just not with our family)

Back in April, my good friend Carrie asked if we wanted to plan a camping trip with her family in October. Since Matt and I are all about camping, we quickly booked us a site. So, for 7 months now, this camping trip with "The Doker's" has been on our calendar. We had numerous conversations about the trip and how much fun we were going to have. But it wasn't until last week that I realized that her entire family, which consisted her mom, dad, 3 sisters, their husbands, and all of their kids, were coming! Carrie felt terrible that we didn't realize that this was their "Family Campout." Matt and I just laughed about it and joined right in with the "family" this weekend. We had an absolute BLAST! They were so much fun and by the end of the weekend, they said we felt like their "in-laws!" Here are some shots from our weekend! I am going to be taking family pictures of this crew in a couple of weeks, so you will be seeing many more shots of them!!
