More pictures of waterlogged Suwanee!

Here are a few more pictures of the flooding around Suwanee!

This is at Martins Farm Road last night around 7:00.

Here is the same spot at 10:00 am this morning!

This is the same spot at 4:30 this afternoon! It is truly amazing how fast the water has risen in this spot!

This silver tin roof is the top of a covered bridge on the Suwanee Greenway. I am not sure what will be left of that bridge!

The Suwanee "Waterway"

Since school was closed today, Matt and I got out this morning to take some pictures of the Suwanee Greenway!! The Suwanee Greeway is an 8 mile trail right beside our house that we walk/jog on quite often. We have seen it flood before, but not nearly as much as it is flooded today!!!!! A lot of the greenway is concrete sidwalks, but a lot of it is made out of wooden planks. I have a feeling that once Suwanee Creek goes down, there is going to be a lot of damage done to the Greenway!!

The Suwanee Greenway has completely flooded!!

This is usually just a field beside the greenway!

The trail usually goes right under the bridge...not today!

Further down the trail, the greenway goes under this bridge. It was a raging river today!

Family Camp Out 2009

Family Camp Out 2009 has come and gone! For at least the past 8 or 9 years, we have had a family camp out with all of my moms side of the family. Each year we have such a great time and this year was no different! We stayed a little busier this year during the daytime than we have in the past. We played a couple of really long games of Catch Phrase, Win, Lose, or Draw, BINGO, and MAFIA! Here are just a handful of the 100+ pictures that I took this Labor Day weekend!

The "COMPOUND" or "CIRCUS TENTS". Saturday night we had 40 people gatering around the table!

The perfect camping meal...hotdogs!

Brady was a fan of the campfire. That was the first place he headed when he got up!

Kale, hard at work hanging up the Yellow Jacket trap! (It did not work!)

Alex and his fiance 'Becca.

Kylie found her calling....dog walking! She loved walking Harley and taking care of him!

BINGO NIGHT!

Nothing like SMORES right after breakfast!

Michael and Jessica had the crew of kids line up for a hand washing assembly line after fishing!

That stupid rubber snake scared each of us numerous times this weekend! It looked so real and it just kept showing up everywhere!

I just had to share this picture of Tiger after his bath when we got home from camping! We can start planning for Family Camp Out 2010!!!
